I come from somewhat complicated beginnings, born on the east coast and raised between the suburbs of Philadelphia and Los Angeles. Virtually every family member around me had an affinity for music, enough to form a 4-piece band with 3 vocalists. At that point in my life, I didn’t show an interest in music. Eventually, I moved to southern California full time. Shortly thereafter, I discovered my own desire to write and play. I guess it was inside me all along, but I just hadn’t had the right stimulus. I went to see a band with a friend. That’s all it took. From that moment my life changed.
World events and additional life changes brought me to northern California. It’s hard to imagine that I lived in southern California for so long. As I get older I realize how much my physical environment affects my spirit as well as my health. Standing on a path in the midst of coastal redwoods that are hundreds of years old, I feel connected. I feel a sense of belonging here.
I met the guys in the band via the Internet. That’s how I seem to meet everyone these days. From the instant that we met in person, it was apparent that there was a bond. We’d all been in other bands in the past, but somehow this was different. Opinions and ideas flow in a comfortable, communicative environment that is laced with a serious amount of humor. We’re extremely serious about our humor! We’re creative and have strong work ethics that show through in the music. Hopefully, with your support, the rest will be history.
